If you purchased your eSIM+ package in the Global YO app, activate it when you are ready to use it while connected to Wi-Fi. If the eSIM is for a country where you are not currently located, you can install it in advance, but activation starts only after arrival. Most eSIMs can be activated only once, so after deletion they cannot be reinstalled.

Global YO also supports later activation via the My eSIM bubble, useful for planned trips or gifts.

If the QR code does not work, your eSIM may already be installed correctly. Check your phone settings to verify eSIM status.

3) Check SIMs section for your eSIM status

For Android:
1) Settings

3) SIM Management (or similar)
4) Find your eSIM and confirm it is active

If it appears without errors, it is installed and active.

If your eSIM is installed and selected but data is not working, APN may not have been configured automatically.

Set APN on Android:
1) Settings
2) Mobile Network
3) Mobile Data
4) Access Point Names (for Global YO eSIM)
5) New Data Connection (+)
6) Name: globaldata
7) APN: globaldata
8) Leave other fields default
9) Save and select this APN

Set APN on iOS:
1) Settings
2) Mobile Service
3) Select eSIM under SIMs
4) Mobile Data Network
5) APN: globaldata
6) Username/Password: empty

You likely reached the daily 1GB high-speed limit. After that, some partner networks reduce speed, but data remains unlimited at lower speed. High-speed allowance resets every day.

Open the Global YO app, go to YO SHOUT, and start calling without a traditional phone number. YO SHOUT supports outgoing calls worldwide and incoming calls from other app users. Regular phone callbacks to the displayed outgoing number are not supported.
